Australian Domestic Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Hot Cut Laser and Plasma Art. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Please check your order confirmation to ensure that your address / postage details are correct. We will always attempt the catch incorrect / incomplete addresses but it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure your postage information is correct.

In the event of your order being returned to us: The customer will be required to pay the cost of the return and the cost to have it sent a second time. This includes incomplete/incorrect address details or non collection from your local post office.

Order processing Times

Our current order processing times are 2-3 business days for MDF orders and 15 business days for powder coated steel orders. During peak seasons such as Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Christmas, these processing times may extend to no greater than our maximum processing times as listed in the table below. If we expect a longer than usual processing time, we will get in contact with you.

If your order requires an approval of a design proof, the processing time will commence on the next business day following your approval to proceed, and also your final payment has been received.

If you are expecting a design proof, please ensure that you check your inbox regularly. Our email correspondence can also find itself in your Junk or Spam filters, so please check those folders as well. It is recommended that you also provide us with a contact number when placing your order as we will contact you by phone if we fail to hear back from you when we contact you via email.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Delivery estimates are an estimate only. We have no control over our shipping providers and as such we can only provide guarantees that your order will be shipped within a certain time frame.

Our shipping rates operate on a flat rate policy which allows us to offer the best possible rate for shipping to all of our customers. We reserve the right to change the shipping method on an order from express to regular post if your item exceeds 2kg in weight or if you are in a location deemed by Australia Post as regional or remote. This will only occur if the cost of posting express exceeds an acceptable amount corresponding to your total order value. If we do change your postage method, you are entitled to a refund of the difference between the value charged for Express post and the charge for regular post.

Since COVID-19, Australia Post has suspended the “Next Day Delivery” service on Express post to Metro regions. Express post can only be referred to as a priority service and does not come with any delivery guarantees.

Please allow additional time for our shipping providers during peak season postage periods such as Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Christmas.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours

Damages

Your shipment leaves us in perfect condition and well protected. If your shipment arrives damaged, please contact us by email at admin@hotcut.com.au as soon as possible so that we can arrange for a replacement to be produced and sent to you.

Please ensure that you save all packaging materials and damaged goods as we will require photos of the damaged product and its packaging and may require the damaged product to be sent back to us at our cost.

Returns Policy

Our Return & Refund Policy provides detailed information about options and procedures for returning your order.

Return To Sender Policy

If there is nowhere deemed safe to leave your parcel, Australia Post will take it to your local post office. In the event of non-collection, your parcel it may be returned to us. if this occurs you will be required to pay a $20.00 Return to Sender fee plus any associated costs to re-send your parcel.
