Our designs are precision laser cut from a single piece of material. The cut-out sections allow the background behind the sign to show through, creating the contrast in the design.

Because of this process, each sign is made in one main colour or finish. Any second contrasting colour comes from the surface behind the sign, such as a wall, fence, gate, backing panel or natural backdrop.

A solid coloured backing can also be added if required. This is most common for property signs, but can be added to other products as well. To discuss this option, please send us a design request using the form further down this page.

We offer three main material options: MDF, Perspex and steel. The best choice depends on your budget, where the sign will be installed, and how exposed it will be to the weather.

MDF is our budget-friendly option and is strictly for indoor use only. It is not suitable for outdoor installation, as moisture can cause MDF to swell, weaken and break down over time.

Perspex is an acrylic material that is more resistant to moisture than MDF. It can be used indoors and in protected outdoor areas, but we do not recommend it for locations exposed to full weather, strong wind or harsh conditions.

Steel is our premium option and the best choice for long-term durability. Unless stated otherwise, our standard steel thickness is 1.6mm, which is ideal for most signs mounted to fences, walls, gates and similar surfaces. For property signs, we also offer an upgrade to 3mm steel, which is recommended for large signs 100cm or over, free-hanging signs, or signs mounted to posts.

For steel finishes, we use Corten steel for rusted patina finishes. If you would like a solid colour, a powder coated finish is the best option.

The size listed on our website is based on the largest dimension of the design.

For example, if you select 100cm, either the width or the height of the sign will be made to 100cm, depending on the shape of the design. The smaller dimension will remain in proportion and will be equal to or less than the selected size.

We offer standard sizing on the website to keep ordering simple. If you need exact dimensions, a custom size, or a larger size than what is listed, please contact us and we can confirm what is possible for your design.

Every product is made to order.

Once your order is placed, stock designs with no personalisation are sent straight through to the workshop for manufacture.

If your order is custom or requires personalisation, our design team will contact you with a design proof for approval. Your order will only move into production once you have approved the design.

After manufacture, your sign will be finished in your selected finish, prepared for delivery and dispatched. Once dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking number.

Typical production timeframes are:

MDF and Perspex: approximately 7 days
Steel: approximately 3 weeks

These timeframes are a guide and may vary depending on the design, finish and current workload.

For indoor use, many signs can simply be hung on a hook. The nature of laser cutting usually provides multiple points within the design that can be used for hanging. Some designs also include dedicated hanging holes, which will be shown in the product images where applicable.

For indoor MDF and Perspex signs, 3M picture hanging strips can also be used for a clean hidden mounting option. These are not supplied.

For outdoor signs, mounting requirements can vary depending on where and how the sign is being installed. We can add hanging or mounting holes to suit your installation where required. You will need to supply any additional fixing hardware, such as screws, bolts, pop rivets, expansion anchors or masonry anchors, depending on your surface and installation method.

We also offer stand-off brackets for a raised “3D” look, where the sign sits approximately 25mm off the wall.
